Ashley Reyes, LCSW #123570
Hola! I’m Ashley Reyes (she/her), a proud Latina therapist. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CSU Monterey Bay and my Master’s in Social Work from USC. Go Trojans!

Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting marginalized communities in the Los Angeles area. Being an advocate for those whose voices are often overlooked is something I care about deeply.

As a trauma-informed therapist, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I show up authentically in sessions, and I encourage you to do the same—because real healing happens when we can be fully ourselves.

I’m passionate about helping people who feel lost or disconnected from themselves rediscover who they truly are. Together, we work to break free from negative thought patterns, generational trauma, limiting beliefs, and cultural or societal expectations that can hold you back from living as your authentic self.

There’s something truly powerful about witnessing someone step into their own truth—free from external pressures—and embrace the beauty of their journey. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside many individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, reconnect with their inner light, and reclaim their sense of self.
My Story
I grew up as the eldest daughter in a Latina household led by a strong single mother. From a young age, I carried a lot on my shoulders—navigating responsibilities, expectations, and the unspoken roles that often come with being the eldest. I was often seen as the “black sheep” of the family, questioning traditions and challenging patterns that didn’t feel aligned with my truth.

My path hasn’t been easy. As a survivor of childhood abuse, I know what it’s like to grow up carrying pain that isn’t yours to hold. But I also know the strength that can emerge from that pain. Along the way, I made a conscious choice to break generational cycles and create a different path—not just for myself, but for those who come after me.

I often say that I didn’t choose this work—my ancestors guided me here. Their resilience, wisdom, and love have paved the way for me to step into my role as a healer. Today, I support others as they reclaim their voice, honor their story, and step into their most authentic selves.

My Style & Modalities I Use
I practice authentic, compassionate, and person-centered therapy — meaning I meet you where you are, without judgment, and prioritize your unique experiences and needs. My style is real and direct: I may cuss, challenge you, and hold you accountable when it supports your growth. I integrate a culturally responsive lens, honoring your identity, background, and the societal factors that shape your experiences. Together, we create a safe space for healing, self-discovery, and transformation.
