A T Visa evaluation is a psychological assessment for individuals who have survived human trafficking. From a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens, I provide comprehensive evaluations that document the emotional and psychological effects of trafficking experiences.

Application must be completed with your lawyer within one year of arriving to the U.S. if you seek protection for yourself (including spouse and children) due to suffering or thinking you might suffer persecution in your country of origin. According to U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, the types of persecution suffered could be related to race, religion, nationality, member of social group, or having a certain political opinion. If applicaiton is approved, you may be allowed by the government to stay in the U.S.

My duty here is to evaluate the psychological, physical, & emotional effects of having suffered persecution in your country of origin.

Extreme Hardship Evaluation

An Extreme Hardship evaluation is a comprehensive psychological assessment used to document the significant emotional, psychological, financial, and relational consequences that a qualifying U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident would experience if their family member were denied immigration status or required to relocate.

These evaluations provide clinically supported evidence to demonstrate the depth of hardship that would result from family separation or relocation.

As a licensed mental health professional, I conduct thorough, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive assessments to produce detailed clinical reports that meet legal standards and support Hardship Waiver applications.

Cancellation of Removal Evaluation

A Cancellation of Removal evaluation is a psychological assessment that provides clinical documentation to support immigration cases in which an individual facing deportation seeks to remain in the United States.

These evaluations focus on the emotional, psychological, and relational impact that deportation would have on the individual and their qualifying U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident family members—particularly children, spouses, or parents.

During the evaluation, I will conduct interviews with the family members to assess for physical, emotional, financial, educational, and psychological effects of having this family member sent back to their country of origin.

Violence against women act (VAWA)

VAWA provides non-citizen immigrants with a U.S. citizen or permanent resident spouse, children, or parent to file a petition to reamin in the U.S. without the abusers knowledge. The undocumented immigrant must provide factual information, such as a police report, that proves suffering of the violence and domestic abuse. This application also applies to male applicants.
